On a little sad note, Dottie has passed on to "Chicken Heaven". Oh no - she was not a tasty treat for Lily - I think she got a chill and chickens are fragile little things.
Chickens are a little like bees - you just do the best you know how and hope everything works.
Unfortunately this was not the case for Dottie.
